Two modes
By default the system publishes on its own - that is the point of automation. You can, however, set articles to arrive in your CMS as drafts; then you publish them with one click once you have read them. In sensitive industries we recommend exactly this mode, at least at the beginning.
Your edits are protected
If you correct a published article in your own CMS, the system recognises it and will not overwrite your version in later updates. Overwriting requires your explicit consent.
