Connecting WordPress with an application password - the most common and simplest route.

How to connect

  1. 1Log in to WordPressYou need an account with the right to publish posts.
  2. 2Create an application passwordIn your user profile, the "Application passwords" section. It is a separate password just for us - not your login password.
  3. 3Paste the details into the panelSite address, username and the generated application password.
  4. 4Check the connectionThe panel confirms straight away whether publishing will work.

What if application passwords are not visible

Some hosting providers and security plugins disable this feature or block access to the WordPress interface. We then have a fallback route; if that does not work either, the panel will say plainly what is blocking the connection - instead of pretending everything is fine.
